On Saturday we welcomed more live music to our hall. With the help of Take Art, we had Christian Garrick and John Etheridge perform for us.
Christian Garrick is an improvising violinist, a composer and a bandleader, principally playing in non-classical fields jazz, tango, commercial, rock, gypsy and folk
John Etheridge rightly enjoys a glowing reputation throughout the jazz world and beyond and has been described by Pat Metheny as, "One of the best guitarists". He is a prodigiously gifted and creative player.
So with 2 such amazing musicians and their special guest Chris Jagger (yes he has a famous brother!) the music was outstanding.
It was great to see so many people from the village and beyond gather for this intimate gig and enjoy their amazing music.
