The West Pennard Village Hall Harvest Supper took place on Saturday 12th October.
Our wonderful community came together over our annual Harvest Supper. It was a delightful atmosphere as everyone enjoyed great company, delicious food and celebrated a tough Harvest.
The evening started with our local farmer Mike Heal sharing a harvest prayer and ended with an epic raffle, 200 club draw and an auction of a Poppy display from the Tower of London (2014). The Poppy display raised £135 and our sincere thanks to Pamela & Derek Hardy who kindly donated this.
Huge thanks also to Wyke Farms and Smithy’s for the cheese & meat, and all the volunteers who helped get everything ready, staff the bar, make the room look great and cleaned up afterwards.
